What is the Stigma Square?
The most personal AND impressive Magic Square you will ever do!
A bold statement? Yes, but imagine this:
You ask a member of the audience about his birthday. You then write the numbers of the day and month of birth into two prominent cells of a traditional 4X4 magic square. After a few seconds of concentration you quickly fill in 14 other numbers into the remaining cells.
Not a single number is repeated, all 14 numbers are 3-digit numbers and they appear widely spread between 100 and 999! No 1- or 2-digit numbers are created as usual.
With the help of a calculator it is shown that 18 combinations of 4 cells (classic Magic Square combinations) will add up TO THE GIVEN BIRTH YEAR!!! Suddenly you realize that this Magic Square is not a perfect Magic Square. It has a flaw. A STIGMA. But...you are able to heal this Stigma. And then you show even more combinations which will lead to the spectators birth year!
And the best part is this: You can repeat the Stigma Square with another person and a different birth day, and the content of every single cell will be
completely different.
That´s how a performance of the Stigma Square may look.
How hard is it to learn the method?
Now, lets see: If you are able to divide an even 2-digit number by 2, add this result to a known 3-digit base number (every time the same) and use this result to create two different values using a simple subtraction, you can do the math part of the method.
If you are able to remember two simple geometrical shapes and two simple rules, you can do the self working part of the method.
Or, in other words: If you have between 30 and 60 minutes of your valuable time to read the Stigma Square booklet and basic math knowledge (3rd degree of elementary school) you are able to learn one of the most impressive Magic Square methods available!
